The water allows to perform a background work and adapt the training to the needs and pathology of the horses. The water treadmill reduces the supported weight from 40% to 60% and this decreases the healing time by up to 50%.
Manufactured in our Normandy factories, this machine is equipped with a touch screen to make your own programs (up to 100).

The Protrainer Water Treadmill can be used in 2 ways making this device very complete:
In muscle development and strengthening: the water exerts a resistance to the horse's movement, requiring more effort to move forward. This allows the horse to develop its muscles more quickly than a classic training.
In rehabilitation and fitness: the height of the water is adjustable up to 1.20 m. This allows, thanks to the Archimedean thrust (force from the bottom to the top) to reduce the weight on the limbs (from 20% to 80%) and to develop the muscles in a soft and progressive way while relieving the tendons and the joints.

The salt saturation of the water (higher than the salt level of seawater) allows the pressure to be increased in order to promote the resorption of oedemas. Salt also helps to improve the assimilation of oxygen into the tissues and the elimination of toxins.

Temperature
The low temperature of the water, maintained between 5°C and 8°C, reduces the permeability of the vessel walls, reducing the presence of inflammatory liquids such as oedemas. In addition, the reduction in the temperature of the sensory influx leads to a reduction in muscle spasms, helping to reduce pain in the area concerned.

The filtration is, in our opinion, the most important part of the machine. With a triple action filtration system, the water in the Protrainer Water is filtered at the inlet and outlet of the machine: it passes through a sand filter for large particles, a charcoal filter for smaller particles and finally a UV lamp for the destruction of germs and bacteria. Our filtration has an automatic cleaning system for quick and easy maintenance.

Cooling
Our planet is precious and our company is committed to this by offering more environmentally friendly solutions. First of all, in our water cooling system, we use a more ecological gas, which is accompanied by a titanium exchanger that helps preserve the cold and therefore reduce energy consumption. In addition, our tank, which is integrated into the structure of the machine itself, is equipped with optimal insulation to preserve the temperature of the water for as long as possible and to limit the action of the cooling unit.
